The Bosendorfer Company was founded in Vienna, Austria in
1828 and has the distinction of being the oldest, continuous manufacturer of
pianos in the world. Almost all of the famous musicians and composers have lived
and worked in Vienna: Haydn, Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms, Liszt helped shaping the city's musical culture. Only out of these
cultural surroundings, only in Vienna, could this special instrument, the Bosendorfer be developed with its unique colorful and powerful tone -

the year 1975 Charles R. Walter introduced the 43" piano to the
keyboard market. In the years to follow, Charles R. Walter pianos grew in

Koichi Kawai's quest began in 1927 as he
